This position supports the Regional SAF department. They are selected by the Regions’ SAF Staff, to be representatives and leaders for the international programming within corresponding regions. They supervise the Regional RFL casework and outreach volunteers. IHL Volunteer Instructors and Youth Action Coordinators and serve as subject matter experts in these programs for the region.

· Knowledge and understanding of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement

· Demonstrated ability to perform duties in compliance with the Red Cross fundamental principles -

· Comprehensive knowledge of the RFL, IHL, and Youth Action Campaign programs

· Experience in performing RLF casework and/or outreach and the delivery of IHL content preferred

· Experience working with volunteers

· Must display leadership and teamwork skills and the ability to be flexible and adaptable

· Existing people management experience preferred - Ability to work with diverse populations, in a culturally competent manner - Ability to work with the local community to discover outreach opportunity es for the programs - Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
