LSI supports newly arrived refugees to settle and integrate into the community, and English skills are essential to this goal. Volunteers meet with students starting at a pre-literate level to help them build their English fluency to navigate the community. Staff and experienced volunteers provide support in initial training and lesson planning.
Classes meet Monday, Tuesday, and Wendesday from 10:30 to 12:30 at LSI's offices.
