Do you or someone you know have a talent for music and to share that with hospice patients and those in your community? Be a hospice volunteer!
Bristol Hospice is looking for compassionate, dedicated, music-talented volunteers to play music or sing to our patients in nursing facilities, group homes, or private residences to bring a little bit of joy and comfort to their lives!
Music volunteers can help by:
- Performing for a patient at their bedside at a nursing facility, group home, or private residence
- Perform for a group of residents at a nursing facility or group homes on a frequent basis (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly)
- Perform for a group of residents at a nursing facility or group home for special events
We will work with your schedule! No prior healthcare experience is required, as we will provide comprehensive training and continious education throughout your volunteer journey with us. This is a deeply fulfilling opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of those we serve through the power of music and song! Must be at least 18 yrs old or older. Those under 18 yrs old will need to volunteer with a parent/guardian.
Any questions regarding our volunteer program, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Mackensie Moore at 214-221-9216 or by email at mackensie.moore@bristolhospice.com.

Mission Statement
Bristol Hospice Dallas is graciously committed to our mission that all patients and families entrusted to our care will be treated with the highest level of compassion, respect, and quality of care.
Description
Bristol Hospice Dallas provides hospice services to meet the physical, psycho-social, and spiritual needs of individuals at the end of life. We focus on an individualized plan of care which may include, as appropriate, the following services: nursing, physicians, hospice aides, spiritual support, therapy, dietary, counseling, volunteers, durable medical equipment, supplies, bereavement services and medications related to terminal illness.
Volunteers are an important part of the hospice model. Volunteers provide special compassionate presence and support to our patients and family in ways that only a volunteer can. When a volunteer visits a patient, they are visiting the patient because they want to be there. It's not a job or an obligation. That is a powerful action for our patients and families!
