Job Overview/Objective:

The Curriculum Development Volunteer(s)/Interns for Mixed Methods and Mixed Approach in Interventions will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing intervention curricula that effectively integrate mixed methods (qualitative and quantitative) and mixed approaches (subject-centered, learner-centered, and problem-centered). This role focuses on creating targeted educational interventions that address specific learning challenges, behavioral issues, and social-emotional needs. The specialist will work closely with educators, psychologists, and other stakeholders to ensure the intervention curriculum is research-based, data-driven, and tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum Design: Develop and implement intervention curricula using a mixed methods approach that includes both qualitative and quantitative data to inform instructional strategies and content.
  • Intervention Planning: Design targeted intervention programs that address specific academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of students, using a mixed approach to cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Needs Assessment: Conduct comprehensive needs assessments, using a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods, to identify student needs and gaps in current intervention practices.
  • Evaluation and Assessment: Develop and implement assessment tools and methodologies to measure the effectiveness of intervention curricula, including progress monitoring and outcome evaluations.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data from multiple sources to inform the design and ongoing refinement of intervention strategies and curricula.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with educators, psychologists, counselors, and other stakeholders to ensure the intervention curriculum is aligned with best practices and meets the needs of the student population.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and professional development for educators and intervention specialists on the implementation of mixed methods and mixed approaches in intervention programs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of intervention programs, making data-driven adjustments and improvements as needed.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of intervention curriculum development processes, assessment results, and recommendations for program improvements.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in curriculum development, with a focus on intervention programs and mixed methods approaches.
  • Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative research methods and data analysis.
  • Strong understanding of intervention strategies, learning theories, and behavior management techniques.
  • Experience working with diverse learner populations, including students with special needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Certification in intervention strategies or special education.
  • Experience in developing social-emotional learning (SEL) programs or behavioral intervention plans.
  • Familiarity with digital tools and platforms used in intervention programs.
  • Experience in a school or educational organization that implements RTI (Response to Intervention) or MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) frameworks.

Thus, leading us to amplify their voices to become leaders and advocates in their community.
