About Us: CCHI is a community-driven initiative dedicated to creating sustainable and inclusive housing solutions. We aim to empower individuals and families through collaborative efforts, and we are seeking a skilled Google Workspace Administrator to support our mission. This volunteer position offers a unique opportunity to contribute your skills to a meaningful cause while gaining valuable experience in a collaborative environment.

Position Summary: As a Volunteer Google Workspace Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Google Workspace environment to facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members and community stakeholders. Your expertise will help enhance our operational efficiency and ensure that our volunteers and board members have the tools they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Google Workspace accounts, including user creation, permissions, and group management for staff and volunteers.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions for volunteers on how to effectively use Google Workspace tools.
  • Create documentation for Google Workspace processes, best practices, and user guides.
  • Assist with data migration projects and onboarding processes for new volunteers and staff members.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Google Workspace administration or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Google Workspace features and administrative tools.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud computing and data security best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support users of varying technical proficiency.
  • Passion for community service and a commitment to the mission of CCHI
