Commitment: 10 hours per week

About Us:
PROMISE Youth & Sports Academy is dedicated to empowering young athletes and cheerleaders to excel both in sports and in life. Our All-Star Pink Dynamic Divas program is designed to foster high-energy performance, teamwork, and leadership in cheerleading. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head Cheer Coach to lead our cheer program and inspire our young athletes.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Coaching: Develop and implement cheerleading routines, stunts, and choreography. Lead practice sessions and provide guidance to cheerleaders on performance techniques.
• Training & Development: Mentor and support cheerleaders in their athletic and personal development. Foster a positive and inclusive environment where all participants can thrive.
• Team Management: Oversee the cheerleading team, including coordinating practices, managing equipment, and maintaining a safe practice environment.
• Event Coordination: Plan and execute cheerleading events, competitions, and performances. Ensure all preparations are completed effectively and efficiently.
• Community Engagement: Represent PROMISE Youth & Sports Academy at events and within the community. Engage with parents and guardians to support team activities and development.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous cheerleading experience as a coach or participant, with a strong understanding of cheerleading techniques and routines.
• Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to inspire and motivate young athletes.
• Certifications: First Aid or CPR
• Commitment: Passion for working with youth and a commitment to the mission of PROMISE Youth & Sports Academy.
