The Medica Zone is dedicated to advancing medical knowledge and developing educational materials that support healthcare trends. We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to lead our Research Department.
Position Overview:The Research Department Director will oversee research initiatives, supervise interns, and contribute to the organization’s mission. This role is vital for aligning research projects with organizational priorities and ensuring timely and successful completion.
Key Responsibilities:Supervision and Mentorship:
- Supervise and mentor research interns.
- Provide training and guidance on research best practices.
Project Management:
- Manage multiple research projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop strategic plans for research initiatives.
Task Management:
- Assign weekly tasks via Asana and generate evaluations.
- Establish intern schedules and monitor time-off requests.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Host weekly office hours and attend monthly executive meetings.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director and Board of Directors.
Research Development:
- Establish clear research objectives and develop educational resources.
- Encourage innovative approaches to research and material development.
Confidentiality and Compliance:
- Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information and adhere to ethical standards.
