Canva Designer Remote Volunteer Position

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Canva Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating visually appealing designs using Canva, and be skilled at filling in templates and making minor adjustments to existing designs. If you have a keen eye for aesthetics and a passion for producing high-quality visuals, we want to hear from you!

Team: Marketing

Location: Remote/Virtual

Time Commitment: Between 6-15 Hours a week

Compensation: This is a Volunteer Position with no monetary compensation.

Position Responsibilities:

• Create and edit design templates using Canva for various projects including social media posts, presentations, brochures, and other marketing materials.

• Customize templates with company branding and client-specific details.

• Make minor adjustments to existing Canva designs to meet project requirements.

• Collaborate with team members to understand design needs and ensure consistency in all visuals.

• Stay up-to-date with design trends and best practices to keep our visuals fresh and engaging.

Skills and Qualifications best suited for this position:

• Proven experience as a Canva Designer or similar role.

• Proficiency in Canva and a strong portfolio showcasing your design work.

• Excellent attention to detail and a good eye for design.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Basic understanding of design principles and branding.

• Experience with other design tools like Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.

• Basic knowledge of marketing and branding concepts.

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Proficiency with Gmail and G-Suite applications

• Fluency in English; bilingual a plus!

• Ability to operate a computer or mobile device

• The following activities are required:

• Ability to operate a computer and/or mobile device.

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds as needed.

• The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).

• The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
