Searching for prospective volunteers based in the San Francisco Bay Area that are interested in gaining exposure in recruitment. Great opportunity to build skills, be a part of a community, and network.
Target Counties: San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, and Monterey
Time Commitment: 2-3 hours per week
Position Type: Volunteer
This is a hybrid position. Working remote and attending in person events.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable meeting new people frequently and creating a recruitment network. They should have excellent organizational skills in order to build and maintain a pipeline of prospective candidates. Help recruit new volunteers by planning, facilitating, and participating in community events such as college fairs, health fairs, presentations, and etc.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies
- Conduct interviews via phone, online meeting (Microsoft Teams), or in-person
- Qualify or reject candidates based on interview feedback and resume reviews
- Serve as point of contact for questions
- Attend in-person events and/or online recruitment events
- Contact prospective volunteers via calls and emails
Ideal for someone with:
- Effective communication skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with Microsoft Office suite
- Available during weekdays, evenings, or weekends
