Georgia Hospice Care volunteers play an integral role as a part of the team. Volunteers provide support and companionship for our patients, allow caregivers to have a break, provide administrative support to our staff and more. Those with special skills such as haircutting, massage therapy, landscaping, spiritual support, veteran to veteran, music therapy, telephone assurance, and emotional support will bring comfort to family members and add joy to the patient’s life. Some even bring certified therapy pets for visits.
