Founded in 2024, Our Safe Space is a startup 501(c)(3) nonprofit that empowers feminine energy in any form, fostering growth and resilience by providing a positive space where everyone can thrive through self-discovery and community.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Financial Advisor to join our team as a Treasurer on our Board of Directors. In this role, you will provide crucial financial guidance, direction and support to ensure the fiscal health and sustainability of Our Safe Space Nonprofit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies and plans.
• Monitor and manage the organization's budget.
• Prepare financial reports and present findings to the board.
• Assist with fundraising strategies and grant applications.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Provide training and support to staff on financial procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
• Proven experience in financial planning and management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with nonprofits is a plus.
• Commitment to the mission and values of Our Safe Space Nonprofit.
