Tumblr Content Curator - Help Us Share Empowering, Fun Content with a New Generation! Organization: Our Safe Space Location: Remote (but we’re based in Tucson, AZ) Time Commitment: 2-4 hours/week, flexible Duration: Minimum 3-month commitment preferred About Us: Our Safe Space is a small but mighty nonprofit supporting individuals-especially those with feminine energy-through personal growth workshops, creative expression, and real community connection. We’re all about empowerment, laughter, and showing up as our beautifully imperfect selves. The Gig: We’ve got blog posts full of insight, graphics that pop, quotes that zing, and a backlog of creative gold... and we want to share it on Tumblr in a way that feels playful, smart, and inspiring. We're looking for someone with a feel for Tumblr culture (past or present), a creative eye, and a heart for uplifting content. Your job? Help us build a space that feels like a digital hug, a high-five, and a rebellion against toxic perfectionism-all in one scroll. Your Role Might Include: Posting 2-3 pieces of content per week (quotes, graphics, blog snippets, workshop wisdom) Helping us find the right Tumblr tags to reach our people Keeping our tone: warm, witty, inclusive, empowering Suggesting fresh ideas or themes we can play with Occasionally turning existing content into new Tumblr-ready formats You Are: Familiar with Tumblr (or curious and ready to explore) Creative and self-directed Good with words and a little Canva-handy Into empowerment, community, and light-hearted real talk Not afraid to use a GIF with intent Bonus Points If: You’re LGBTQIA+ or an ally You’ve worked with nonprofits or social justice orgs You like puns. Volunteer Coordinator (Part-Time, Remote) Location: Remote or Tucson-based Schedule: Flexible, approx. 5 hours/week What We’re Looking For: Our Safe Space is growing fast-and so is our amazing crew of volunteers! We’re looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to help us keep things organized, welcoming, and wonderfully human as we connect with new folks who want to be part of the magic. This is a behind-the-scenes but totally essential role. You’ll be the first friendly contact for potential volunteers, helping us match the right people to the right opportunities and making sure no one falls through the cracks. Bonus points if you’re intuitive enough to read minds-or at least finish our founder’s sentences. Key Responsibilities: Review incoming volunteer applications from VolunteerMatch and our website Organize applicant info in a shared spreadsheet or tracker Communicate with potential volunteers via email Help identify best-fit roles or opportunities for applicants Coordinate with Gayla (our founder) to keep things moving Suggest improvements to how we onboard and engage volunteers Qualifications: Friendly, professional communication skills Organized and spreadsheet-comfortable (Google Sheets, Excel, etc.) Reliable and responsive-people are counting on you! Able to maintain clear records and follow up with kindness Genuinely excited about community-building and supporting others Bonus if you’ve volunteered or led teams before! Be Our Behind-the-Scenes Wizard! (Local Tech Support Needed) Location: Tucson, AZ (some remote work possible) Schedule: Flexible | 5 hours/month What We’re Looking For: Are you the kind of person who actually likes figuring out which button isn’t clicked in Mailchimp? Or who feels a strange joy when a Canva folder gets organized? We’re looking for a calm, capable tech helper to support Our Safe Space behind the scenes. Nothing huge-just the small but mighty tasks that keep things running smoothly. You don’t need to be a developer or IT pro. You just need to be local, reliable, and willing to be the person we text when things act weird or we can't find them. Key Responsibilities Could Include: Uploading blog posts or workshop descriptions to our website Keeping Canva, Dropbox, andGoogle Drive folders organized Troubleshooting the occasional formatting glitch Creating and coordinating Meetup events and schedules. Creating accurate calendars for all of us to follow. Providing in-person support at events when needed (rare but helpful!) You’ll Love This If You... What We’re Looking For: We have more requests for Vision Board Workshops than we can keep up with! People keep coming back over and over again for the fun and connections! Everyone loves picturing the life of their dreams. We're expanding our program this year - to include 55+ communities and youth programs. We're looking for folks who love sharing their knowledge, enthusiasm, and joy with others. Vision boards are such a delight, and a marvelous way to get in touch with your four-year-old joy. Even if you've never made a vision board before, you can help others do it in no time flat! These workshops would be in-person in the Tucson, Arizona area. Role and Responsibilities: Facilitate engaging and interactive 2 hour workshops. Encourage and support learners, fostering a positive and enriching experience. Commit to a consistent schedule. Qualifications: Passion and enthusiasm for helping others become the best they can be. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create a positive and supportive atmosphere for learners. No formal teaching experience required-just a willingness to share your knowledge and inspire others.
