The Snoqualmie Valley Historical Museum is looking for volunteers to work on collections projects in our extensive museum archives. Collections volunteers are able to work on a variety of projects to research, organize, digitize, and catalog items in our collection of historical objects, documents, and photographs.
Collections volunteers learn how to properly care for and catalog historical items, while also learning about the Snoqualmie Valley and its dense history. This opportunity is perfect for someone interested in archiving, library science, history, museums, and collections management.
Available volunteer hours are between 10:30am and 4:30pm on Thursdays through Sundays. There is no minimum required time commitment, so volunteers can commit to contributing the amount of time that works best for them.
Contact kaitlyn@snoqualmievalleymuseum.org to learn more about current volunteer opportunities and to schedule a volunteer orientation.
