Museum Collections Volunteer

Flexible Schedule | North Bend, WA 98045

The Snoqualmie Valley Historical Museum is looking for volunteers to work on collections projects in our extensive museum archives. Collections volunteers are able to work on a variety of projects to research, organize, digitize, and catalog items in our collection of historical objects, documents, and photographs. Collections volunteers learn how to properly care for and catalog historical items, while also learning about the Snoqualmie Valley and its dense history. This opportunity is perfect for someone interested in archiving, library science, history, museums, and collections management. Available volunteer hours are between 10:30am and 4:30pm on Thursdays through Sundays. There is no minimum required time commitment, so volunteers can commit to contributing the amount of time that works best for them. History Museum Docent

Do you have a love for history and enjoy sharing your knowledge with others? Volunteer at the Snoqualmie Valley Historical Museum as a docent! Docents welcome visitors into the museum, answer questions about exhibits, and sell gift shop items. Museum docents can learn more about history in the Snoqualmie Valley through educational opportunities at the museum. If interested, docents can also conduct visitor tours and answer historical inquiries. Available volunteer hours are between 10:30am and 4:30pm on Thursdays through Sundays.
