This position supports the National Headquarters (NHQ) Real Estate Services (RES) department. This is a 100% virtual (volunteer-from-home) opportunity. The Real Estate Services department within the American Red Cross supports all facets of real estate needs from strategic planning, purchases, leasing, building maintenance, rent payments, building disposal and everything in between. We are looking for a volunteer that can provide administrative support to our RES Team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in administering shared inbox, responding to requests from NHQ Corporate departments
- Tags emails for further review and follow up - delivers/ routes out to appropriate recipients
- Research information from database
- May be assigned other special projects as needed
Qualifications:
ALL REQUIRED
- Reliable access to resources needed to volunteer 100% virtually
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Enthusiastic about Red Cross mission and programs
- Proficient, tech savvy experience using the Microsoft suite, including Teams, Outlook, and Word
- Prior experience working within multiple databases.
- Ability to work independently
- Comfortable with multitasking
- Be willing to assist with other related tasks to support project implementation.
- Willingness to comply with current public health and Red Cross policies
