*This is a REMOTE Volunteer position*

We are seeking an experienced React Developer to help us finish building a new web-based tool for visualizing a science/technology roadmap.

This roadmap visualization tool will allow anonymous users to view all of the milestones required to achieve a research goal, including various kinds of information about each milestone :

• Success criteria
• Current researchers or labs
• Time/money cost estimates
• Risks

The roadmap visualization tool will also enable authenticated users to log in and add/remove/modify milestones in the roadmap.

Your role would be to provide the React expertise that the rest of us are currently lacking, troubleshoot the React issues that we're running into, and help us complete the initial version of the half-finished frontend.

You would contribute to :

• Architecture, design, and development of the application
• Participate in weekly calls, emails, and team chats to discuss progress

Requirements:

• 3 years of Javascript experience and knowledge working with React or 1 year of experience in a full time role working primarily with React development.

Time Commitment:

• 1 hour weekly team meeting
• 1 hour weekly organization meeting
• At least 6 - 10 hours / week
• At least 4 months
