Position Overview: We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Board of Directors. As a board member, you will play a crucial role in guiding the strategic direction of our organization, ensuring we fulfill our mission, and helping us achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Attend board meetings and participate in strategic planning sessions.
Provide oversight and governance to ensure the organization's financial health and operational integrity.
Support fundraising efforts and help secure resources to sustain and grow our programs.
Serve as an ambassador for Our Safe Space, promoting our mission and programs within your networks.
Collaborate with fellow board members and staff to develop and implement organizational policies.
Qualifications:
Commitment to the mission and values of Our Safe Space.
Experience in nonprofit governance, fundraising, finance, or related fields.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to think strategically and work collaboratively.
Previous board experience is a plus but not required.
