We’re looking for a Grant Coordinator to join our growing team!

What you’ll do:

  • Conduct thorough research to identify grant opportunities that align with our organization's mission and programs and work closely with the marketing team to gather information and data necessary for grant proposals
  • Write clear, compelling, and persuasive grant proposals that effectively communicate our organization's goals, activities, and outcomes
  • Ensure that grant proposals are submitted in a timely manner and meet all requirements and guidelines set forth by funding organizations
  • Maintain accurate records of grant proposals, submissions, and outcomes
  • Stay informed about trends and best practices in grant writing and funding opportunities in the non-profit sector
  • Collaborate with other staff members on fundraising initiatives and activities as needed

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in grant writing, grant management, or fundraising within a nonprofit environment
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships with grantors, funders, and community stakeholders
  • Experience in writing and submitting successful grant proposals, securing grants ranging from small-scale to major funding opportunities
  • Knowledge of nonprofit fundraising principles and grant funding processes
  • Knowledge of grant compliance regulations and reporting guidelines for government, foundation, and corporate grants
  • Familiarity with grant management software or databases for tracking applications, deadlines, and reporting requirements

We strive to make fine art readily available to anyone who wishes to experience it, even when unable to do so financially. The Donovan's Venom, INC. 501(c)(3) produces annual benefit concerts, shows, and performances. These experiences are open for all community members. The Donovan's Venom, INC. 501(c)(3) exercises: artistic, comedic, and musical channels to bring soothing to children hospitals, hospices, shelters for the homeless, nursing homes, and various other entities full of people in need of assuagement. The Donovan's Venom, INC. 501(c)(3) has partnered with The Donovan's Piano Room to host weekly online lessons to students who wish to learn music, music theory, sight-reading, and musical techniques, even when they can't afford to do so.
