About San Quentin SkunkWorks:

Position Description:
We are looking for a Volunteer Social Media Manager to help us amplify a narrative rarely heard but immensely powerful. This role offers the unique opportunity to work alongside our Impact Team, comprised of incarcerated leaders, and gain firsthand insights that deepen the impact of your social media campaigns.

Ideal Candidate:
You are deeply attuned to the nuances of digital storytelling with a passion for justice and reform. Creative, empathetic, and skilled in social media, you're ready to transform complex social issues into compelling online narratives that resonate and educate.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage our social media strategy to elevate the voices of incarcerated individuals, showcasing the transformative initiatives they lead.
- Collaborate on-site with our Impact Team to capture authentic stories and insights, bringing fresh perspectives to our digital platforms.
- Monitor engagement and adapt strategies to broaden our reach and deepen our impact on the community.

Why Volunteer With Us?
- Directly engage with and represent a community that's largely absent from digital and social narratives.
- Play a pivotal role in redefining the conversation around incarceration and justice.
- Gain unparalleled experience in social media management with a focus on social justice, enhancing your skills and expanding your professional network.

Join us in this unique role where your efforts on social media can literally change lives and challenge the status quo. Be a voice for the voiceless and a force for transformative change.
