Are you passionate about storytelling and filmmaking? Do you want to use your skills to make a positive impact? &Rise, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women to be the ultimate versions of themselves no matter what adversities they've faced, is seeking a dedicated volunteer videographer to capture the heart of our events and fundraisers.

About Us:

&Rise is a 501c3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower women to be the ultimate versions of themselves no matter what adversities they've faced. We are dedicated to serving women survivors of sexual and domestic abuse with free mental health services and resources and rely on passionate volunteers to help us achieve our mission.

About the Role:

As a Volunteer Videographer, you will play a vital role in documenting the stories of our events and fundraisers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Attend and film designated events and fundraisers, primarily on weekends with some flexibility.
• Capture engaging footage that portrays the energy, impact, and emotions of our work.
• Conduct brief interviews with volunteers, participants, and key individuals.
• Utilize creative videography techniques to create impactful and emotionally resonant stories.
• Edit your footage into compelling short videos suitable for online platforms and fundraising materials.
• It is preferred that you also have your own equipment (we have some but its quite outdated)

You are a perfect fit for this role if you:

• Are passionate about [your organization's cause] and motivated to use your skills for social good.
• Possess a strong understanding of videography principles and storytelling techniques.
• Have experience using video editing software and are proficient in basic editing techniques.
• Are creative and have an eye for capturing compelling visuals and sound.
• Are reliable, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
• Have a flexible schedule, primarily available on weekends.
