This specific experience is for businesses or corporations that are interested in assisting their employees to receive volunteer hours. &Rise is a 501c3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower women to be the ultimate versions of themselves, no matter what adversities they've faced. We work with women who are sexual and domestic abuse survivors and offer free mental health services, career development, empowerment and educational workshops so that women can be the best versions of themselves both personally and professionally. We are seeking volunteers to make word bead bracelets for the female survivors we serve at our nonprofit. Some bracelets will be given to women we work with and others will be sold so that we can continue to fund our free mental health services. Previous experience not necessary. This is a fun way of giving back to other women. The bracelets all have empowering words on them to help inspire and motivate survivors and give them hope. We can either set a day to make bracelets as a group in-person or we can do this event virtually as well. Please see image with different options for corporate employees.
