Our organization is in need of several housekeeping volunteers who are able of attend to our facility which consist of several offices, multi-purpose rooms, kitchen, bathrooms, classrooms, etc and will keep our facility neat and clean for our students, staff and tutors. As a housekeeper’s your primary responsibility is to perform cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively, ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the assigned areas.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
  • Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
  • Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
  • Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances
  • Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
  • Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
  • Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices

If you have this experience and would like to apply to perform your skillset to assist our organization, you will need to attend our 2 hour orientation interview. Applications will be taken on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00 am. Applicants must be available for 2 hours when turning in the application, for orientation and interview on the same day. Adult applicants will also be required to undergo fingerprints the same day (off-site) which is a $30 for self-volunteers. (Minors will not have to undergo a background check).

Boys2MEN-Girls2Women is a non-profit organization developed to serve the community by assisting children from 2 to 18 years of age in becoming productive members of society by instilling positive, spiritual, cultural, educational, vocational and social values.

Description

We as a team penetrates and infiltrates local elementary and secondary schools and unearth children who have Fallen Through the Cracks (FTC). Once FTC children are identified a Boys2MEN/-Girls2Women, Mentoring/Tutoring Club is established on school campus, churches, and community centers, and each FTC child is then incubated, nurtured, tutored and inspired towards greatness.
