Mission Statement

At the Ark of Redemption, our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing environment for homeless and abandoned cats through a free-roaming shelter model. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming cats in need. Our efforts focus on ensuring the well-being of every cat in our care by offering high-quality medical treatment, nutritious food, and ample socialization opportunities. Our goal is to find loving, permanent homes for each of our feline residents while promoting responsible pet ownership and community education. Through compassion, commitment, and community support, we strive to create a world where every cat can live a healthy, happy life. 95% of our efforts are local but help is also provided to out of state cases when possible. We do not discriminate as animals matter.

Description

The Ark of Redemption is a 501c3 nonprofit cat shelter that operates as a free-roaming shelter. Our primary goal is to assist pets and their owners, with a special emphasis on our shelter cats. Additionally, we engage in advocacy, fostering, transportation, and TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) services for cats. We are passionate about offering education and support to current and prospective pet owners.
