Position Overview: Chiquita Jackson Enterprise is seeking a qualified and dedicated Volunteer Development & Fundraising Manager to lead our efforts in securing resources to support our mission. As a social impact nonprofit, we believe in transformative leadership and the power of youth development to create positive change.

Responsibilities:

1. Fundraising Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies aligned with organizational goals and mission, including individual giving, corporate partnerships, and grant writing.

2. Donor Cultivation: Cultivate and steward relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, and foundations, ensuring effective communication and engagement.

3. Grant Writing: Research, identify, and apply for grants to support Chiquita Jackson Enterprise's programs and initiatives. Prepare compelling grant proposals and reports.

4. Campaign Management: Plan and execute fundraising campaigns, including online and offline initiatives. Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to ensure cohesive messaging.

5. Event Planning: Coordinate and manage fundraising events, both virtual and in-person, to engage donors and raise awareness about Chiquita Jackson Enterprise's mission.

6. Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records using fundraising software. Ensure confidentiality and compliance with donor privacy regulations.

7. Budget Oversight: Work collaboratively with the finance team to develop and manage fundraising budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.

8. Communication: Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling fundraising materials and communicate impact to donors and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in nonprofit fundraising and development.
• Strong understanding of fundraising strategies, donor relations, and grant writing.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of social impact and poverty-related issues.

Reporting: This position reports to the Executive Director.
