Impact your local community by joining the Compassion Action Network (CAN) of Anoka County! CAN works with local non-profits, faith communities, city and county government and school districts to create a space to share resources and work together to creatively address needs in the community.
CAN is looking for a techno-savvy senior to help spread the word about upcoming events using Social Media tools such as Facebook and the CAN website. The media and communications board member also assists by crafting basic marketing materials and sending group emails. Share 2-3 hours per month with Compassion Action Network and see how these important conversations shape solutions in Anoka County.

The Anoka County RSVP connects people age 55 and over who want to volunteer with non-profit and social service programs in Anoka County who need volunteers. Volunteers enroll by completing a skills and interests checklist and these are matched to community needs. From the matches, the volunteer selects a volunteer job that is meaningful and fits.
