Give back to military service members and their families by volunteering with the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society! Our Client Services Assistants maintain our front desk, provide customer service, perform various business administration tasks, answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and process small loan applications. Training is provided for all volunteers. Build your skills in teambuilding, customer service, business administration, and leadership and grow your knowledge of the military pay system and local resources. Some military knowledge preferred, but not required.

This is a great match for anyone looking to build their resumes, enhance their skills, and make new connections! We rely on our volunteers to make giving back to our service members and their families possible!

Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society-Pensacola operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. After-hour and weekend volunteer opportunities are limited.

The Society's mission is to provide- in partnership with the Navy and Marine Corps- financial, educational, and other assistance to members of the Naval Service of the United States, their eligible family members and survivors, when in need; and to manage funds to administer these programs.

Description

The Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society is a private, non-profit, charitable organization. As a Center of Excellence, we exist solely to support the active and retired communities of the Naval Service. Located at approximately 241 offices ashore and afloat throughout the world, the Society's work is accomplished mainly by its 3,000 dedicated, trained, and caring Volunteers who are supported by a small cadre of paid employees.
