Therapy dog teams are needed in both inpatient and outpatient settings for a variety of ages and abilities - from the little kids up to adults! We work with you and your dog to find the right client matches.
In the outpatient setting, the therapy dogs will be used as supplemental reinforcement for clients during their sessions in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy.Pet Therapy teams at Buffalo Hospital bring joy to patients and staff. Pet therapy benefits patients, staff, and even the therapy animals themselves.
