Do you live in Adams County? Volunteer to deliver food to your neighbors with Benefits in Action! We are looking for volunteers willing to deliver to Thornton, Northglenn, Westminster, Henderson and beyond in Adams County.
Food Delivery Drivers volunteers will pick up food boxes from the Benefits in Actions warehouse and deliver to a partner location or individual homes/apartments in your home zip code in Adams county, Colorado.
Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, background check, and reliable transportation required. Deliveries take place Tuesday - Saturday, mornings or afternoons. Number of deiveries depends upon volunteer vehicle size and preference.

Description
Benefits in Action is a nonprofit organization located in Lakewood, Colorado that serves individuals throughout the state. We strive to increase understanding, access, and utilization of healthcare resources. Our team of navigators (staff and volunteers) works with individuals to help them recognize the health-related benefits they qualify for, apply to those benefits, and utilize them as effectively as possible. We are passionate about the importance of increasing healthcare benefit literacy among the public. Accordingly, we organize and hold educational sessions in public facilities aimed at increasing individual understanding and self-efficacy in navigating the healthcare system. In addition to benefit navigation, we also provide tax preparation, mental wellness support, and food delivery (in the Denver-metro area).
