well-being, empathy, and compassion for all. We achieve our mission by teaching and
encouraging mindfulness and meditation practices. Through our programs, we aim to
empower individuals and communities to thrive in a fast-paced world, promoting a
culture of mindfulness that benefits everyone.

About This Role:

As a Brand Ambassador Intern at Awaken Pittsburgh, you will play a pivotal role in
promoting our mission and increasing our impact. This role is pivotal in expanding our
presence and engagement on social media platforms, specifically Instagram and
Facebook. As a volunteer Brand Ambassador, you will be the face and voice of our
organization, spreading awareness about mindfulness, mental health, and meditation.
You will play a crucial role in promoting our events and campaigns to a diverse
audience.

What can you expect to do in this role? (Essential Duties)

• Content Creation and Management:
• Craft and post engaging content on Instagram and Facebook, minimum of three times per week (based on themes and copy provided by the Marketing Manager).
• Develop creative strategies to showcase our initiatives in mindfulness, mental health, and meditation.
• Ensure content aligns with our brand's voice, mission, and values.
• Audience Engagement:
• Actively engage with our online community by responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.
• Foster a positive and supportive online environment for discussions around mental health and wellness.
• Promotion of Events and Campaigns:
• Effectively promote upcoming events and campaigns, driving participation and interest.
• Utilize storytelling and personal experiences to connect with the audience and encourage involvement in our programs.
• Brand Representation:
• Represent Awaken Pittsburgh in a professional and authentic manner.
• Attend and participate in various events as a spokesperson for the organization.
• Performance Tracking:
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of social media campaigns.
• Provide insights and recommendations for improving engagement and reach.
  We expect this position to require 5-8 hours per week.

About You:

● Currently pursuing an associates, bachelors, or masters degree (degree field in
Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred but not necessary).
● A strong interest in mindfulness, meditation, and the mission of Awaken
Pittsburgh.
● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
● Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
● Creative thinker with attention to detail.
● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
● Proficient in Microsoft Office and willing to learn new software as needed.
