As a volunteer with our organization you would be an integral part of our team and build unforgettable relationships with patients and caregivers. We strive to bring joy and life into the lives of those with advanced illness. Whatever your interests or skillset, we are in need of your help and look forward to welcoming you to our hospice family.
For this particular volunteer role, you will provide companionship for the patient you are assigned to on a weekly or monthly basis (we work with your schedule). Volunteers are often requested by the family of the patient or by the patient themselves due to feelings of isolation. This role is to be a friend to the patient, whether by active listening, painting nails, reading to the patient, or holding their hand.
We would love to welcome you to the team. Reach out to our volunteer coordinator at askoubye@vitalityhospice.com or text/call 919-410-3560 for more information and to go over our onboarding process.
