ASSE International Student Exchange Programs has openings part-time Area Representatives. By getting involved as an ASSE Area Representative, you will be making a difference in the world - one young person at a time. As an ASSE Area Representative, you’ll be that all-important point person for students placed in your area during their year abroad. Mentor, advocate, and friend are just some of the roles you will play as you oversee the ASSE program in your area and help an international student and local family get the most out of their exchange year.

The ideal candidate has the following traits:

  • Flexible and efficient in scheduling their time
  • Has a positive attitude
  • Has excellent communication skills
  • Is involved in the local community
  • Is outgoing, caring, enthusiastic, motivated, and a natural self-starter
  • Has a desire to make an impact in the world
  • Is comfortable using computers, the Internet, and social media
  • Has a strong ability to recruit people, if not is open to learning
  • Has a love for international education and culture
You’ll receive training and ongoing support from your ASSE Area Coordinator, and be a part of a team atmosphere with other Area Representatives in the area.
