Role Overview
As a volunteer translator, you’ll play a vital role in facilitating communication within our community. This position involves translating written messages between Tagalog and English within Facebook group chats to ensure everyone stays informed and connected.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate messages, announcements, and conversations accurately between Tagalog and English.
• Maintain cultural sensitivity and ensure the original meaning and intent are preserved.
• Foster effective communication within the group by bridging language barriers.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Tagalog and English with strong written communication skills in both languages.
• Ability to convey meaning clearly and with cultural nuance.
• High attention to detail and commitment to providing accurate, high-quality translations.
• Familiarity with Facebook and experience using Facebook group chat features.

Time Commitment

• Approx. 10-15 hours per week (flexible schedule).
