We want volunteers that can talk to patients, help play games, help with various things, creativity is a good thing, and being able to read as well. Not all patients are at the same level of ability, but a lot of them a just bored.
Our goal is to have you visit 1x a week for an hour or so. If your relationship is building with that patient, we can add more time. But we would like at least 2-4 visits a month. You will record all your visits on an electronically scanned document and return to me via email.
This is a nice facility some patients are in memory care and others are in need of companionship.
We do not require COVID documented vaccinations, but we do practice save practices to help prevent illness.
