Welcome to Aseracare Hospice Volunteer Program!

You have started the first step to becoming a volunteer. We are currently seeking volunteers for one of our remote opportunities. Our Remote Hospice Companion program is a way to connect with hospice patients and their families virtually. Volunteers call an assigned list of patients once a week to provide companionship.

Volunteer Training provided upon completion of application and background screening.
This is a REMOTE position.

Description

As a community-based agency, Aseracare Hospice is committed to providing proper care of the dying patient and their family, as well as education for the community regarding hospice. Hospice care is provided to any terminally ill patient regardless of inability to pay. Per the hospice benefit, our volunteer program provides social and emotional support to patients and families.
