Teen Partners can volunteer at the Library, both in-person and virtually, for an opportunity to be an active member of the community, gain work experience, earn community service hours, or just to help out at the Library and develop friendships. Teen Partners can be asked to assist in shelving books, shelf reading, tutoring, decorating the Library, and providing general assistance to Youth Services Librarians. Tasks might also include preparation and distribution of program materials and children’s crafts, as well as staffing tables, distributing literature, and assisting with set-ups and take-down at Library events and programs.

Virtual Teen Partners can gain community service credits remotely by submitting digital book reviews, performing social media tasks to help promote the Library, and performing other digital challenges when offered.
