The Ossining Food Pantry co-sponsors an outdoor Mobile Food Pantry truck from Feeding Westchester. Volunteers are needed to help set up folding tables, unload bags of food from the truck, staff tables to assist in food distribution, and check-in clients. Bilingual volunteers (English/Spanish) would be especially helpful.
Schedule: 11:45 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on the first and third Wednesday each month.

The Ossining Food Pantry, founded in 1988, is 100% staffed by volunteers. Our mission is to help eliminate food insecurity in our community. We serve people in need from Ossining, Briarcliff Manor, and Scarborough.
Today we help approximately 350 families each week through a range of services including Choice Pantry food distributions, deliveries to homebound clients and agencies, and a Mobile Food Pantry, cosponsored with Star of Bethlehem Church and Feeding Westchester.
