Thank you for your interest in our volunteer team. Let me tell you how we work. We are not an inpatient unit. We go visit where our patients live, be it a memory care, Assisted living center, nursing home or their private homes. There is travel involved. With one hour per week, you could change a life, maybe your own. To be considered as a volunteer you will need to do the following:
- Fill out an application
- Submit an approval to run a background check on you (we pay for that)
- Take and pass a drug and TB tests (we pay for that)
- do online Relias learning modules as training
- Meet for a face-to-face orientation - Bring Georgia driver's license and current auto insurance and your COVID-19 vaccine card with you to orientation.
- Meet your patient.
