Thanks to community members like you, we can continue to provide support to our network of food pantries throughout Marion and Polk counties.

Warehouse volunteers support our warehouse team in the following areas:

Volunteer Action Center (VAC)
Sort and repack donated food into family sized amounts for our partners.

Retail Recovery
Sort and repack fresh produce, dairy products, and refrigerated items donated from local grocery stores to ensure only the highest quality food is distributed to our neighbors.


We have limited shift capacity and require volunteers to commit to a regular, weekly shift.

2 Shifts

  • 12:30 PM to 03:30 PM PST
    Monday through Thursday.
  • 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM PST
    Monday through Friday

Our mission is to bring people together to end hunger and its root causes.

Description

Every month, more than 46,000 people - including 15,000 children - will access emergency food through the Marion Polk Food Share partner network. This food may be a hot meal served at a shelter, a free community meal served at a church, or an emergency food box from a food pantry. This nutritious food will help children and adults learn, work, and thrive.
