"I think music in itself is healings. It's an explosive expression of humanity. It's something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we're from, everyone loves music." - Billy Joel
Patients in facilities and in their homes would enjoy hearing you play an instrument and/or sing. Research suggests that musical memories are often preserved in Alzheimer's disease because key brain areas linked to musical memories are relatively undamaged by the disease. We at Gentiva Hospice are looking for talented musicians to provide music to our patients and families.
The patients that you will support are in your community.
COVID vaccinations no longer required.
