Gentiva Hospice, located in San Bernardino, is currently seeking volunteers to support office personnel with clerical and administrative tasks, such as answering the phone, data entry, filing, printing & making copies of documents, etc. No medical experience required. Our office is open Monday through Fridays, from 8:00AM to 5:00PM. There is no minimum time commitment; we will work with your schedule! Hospice volunteers are people with a giving heart and compassion; so if this sounds like you, we'd love to have you as part of our team! Orientation and training provided! Come make a difference!

Gentiva Hospice is part of the " We Honor Veterans" program that specializes in quality care for Veterans on their End-of-life Journey. Be part of our hospice team who cares for terminally ill Veterans in their homes, nursing homes and assisted living facilities all over San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. Here are a few examples of how you can support our Veterans: Provide companionship and emotional support to fellow Veterans and their caregivers Provide relief (sitting with a patient) while the caregiver runs errands or just takes a short break Assisting Veterans in enrolling and accessing VA benefits Participate in our Veteran recognition and pinning ceremonies Assisting with replacing of lost medals and awards No medical experience is needed! Volunteers DO NOT perform any clinical duties. Hospice volunteers are people with a giving heart and compassion; so if this sounds like you, we'd love to have you as part of our team! You will receive volunteer orientation and training to help improve the quality of life for others. Come make a difference!

Our volunteer coordinators will help you find your superpower, and then match your gifts with opportunities in your area. How you serve is up to you. There is no minimum time commitment; we will work with your schedule! We at Gentiva Hospice are currently seeking volunteers to visit terminally ill patients all over the Inland Empire. Volunteers can spend time with a patient so their caregiver can get a much needed break to go shopping, do errands or attend appointments. You can engage with patients through any of the following: Provide companionship and emotional support. Provide a listening ear. Encourage them to share life experiences. Play games (cards, board games, etc.) Watch TV with patients. Read to patients. Sing/play an instrument to patients. No medical experience is needed! Volunteers DO NOT perform any clinical duties. Hospice volunteers are people with a giving heart and compassion; so if this sounds like you, we'd love to have you as part of our team! Based on your interests and preferences, you will receive specific volunteer orientation and training to help improve the quality of life for others. Come make a difference!
