We are seeking folks who have some time and love to give to patients with a life limiting diagnosis. Visiting hospice patients for purposes of companionship is a gift that will give back to you again and again. If you can play a board game, read a book or the bible, play music, hold a hand or help someone write a life review to leave their loved ones, we have a spot for you on our team!
If you have a certified Pet Therapy dog - our patients love to get visits!
Volunteer Orientation and ongoing support is provided to our Volunteers - People who come from all walks of life and give of their time and talent when and where their schedules permit.
Fingerprinting, drug screening and a 2 step TB test are Medicare requirements and are paid for by Capital City Hospice.
