Look no further! Manatee Literacy Council has been teaching adults to read, write, and speak English for over 40 years in Manatee County. Literacy is the road to helping everyone reach their potential.
Our mission is to empower Manatee County residents to independence through literacy. We do that through
- One-on-one tutoring
- Virtual "Confident Conversation" classes
- In-person ESL Classes
Our tutors receive training and ongoing support. You don't need any experience in teaching - just a willingness to help another adult! We have a waiting list of individuals who need your support - please give us a call and we would be happy to talk about how you can get involved!
