Description: YesLiberia is seeking a passionate and skilled Volunteer Photographer to join our team in Monrovia. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a talent for storytelling through photography. This role involves capturing both scheduled and spontaneous moments of our various programs and activities, contributing to our mission by visually documenting our impact.This position is ONLY for candidates currently residing in Liberia.

Responsibilities:

• Capture high-quality photographs of YesLiberia’s programs and activities, including:

• Bus transportation of students

• Scholarship students in their educational environments

• Interactions between students and parents

• Engagements with team members and volunteers

• Take both scheduled and scripted photos as well as candid, random shots to authentically document our work.

• Use YesLiberia’s tablets and phones for photography purposes.

• Attend and photograph various YesLiberia’s events and activities as scheduled.

• Coordinate with program managers to understand the key moments and objectives for photo documentation.

• Organize and manage a digital library of photos.

• Edit and enhance photos as necessary to ensure high-quality presentation.

• Collaborate with the communications team to provide photos for social media, website, and promotional materials.

Requirements:

• Must be a resident of Monrovia, Liberia.

• Proven experience in photography, with a portfolio demonstrating the ability to capture both posed and candid moments.

• Familiarity with using tablets and smartphones for photography.

• Basic photo editing skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
