Overview of Position: Help carry out the monthly Poz Café luncheon by taking on specific duties including moving heavy items including boxes of supplies and ice chests.
Benefits to the Volunteer: The opportunity to work directly with CarePartners and members of various groups and faith communities in a warm, caring, and accepting atmosphere.
Specific Tasks:
- Assisting with picking up, moving, setting up, and taking down supplies for CarePackages as well as ice chests used for storing take-home meals.
- This task requires the volunteer to be in good physical condition, the stamina to stand and work for up to five hours outdoors during the day (including during the summer).
