Volunteer/Foster Coordinator

Purpose:

• Continuously check for applications submitted in response to open volunteer positions posted on Candys Cats website.
• Perform follow up activities to complete timely response to applicants, conduct a screening process, and make recommendations to Candy on appropriate candidate selection.
• Act as the key contact support all current volunteers as well as coordinating with the Volunteer Assessment Group on various activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create and provide recruitment ads to the Webmaster.
• Post volunteer roles on Volunteer Match, or other related resources
• Schedule and conduct phone interviews with applicants for posted skill specific volunteer openings.
• Check personal CCI inbox frequently to respond to questions or issues from volunteers.
• Research and ensure timely response to resolve volunteer issues and answers questions.
• Conducts exit interviews, when applicable.
• Engages with the Program Committee to discuss volunteer retention and satisfaction requiring their input.
• Provide a short report on volunteer requirement activities and supporting statistics to Candy ahead of each quarterly board meeting.
• Participates as a member the Program Committee.
• Mandatory attendance at Board Meetings
• 2-7 Hours per week commitment

Qualifications:

• Must be over 25 years of age and have reliable transportation.
• Previous management experience required.
• Excellent communication skills, including oral and written.
• Previous experience in positions that required demonstration of time management and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Google Workspace as well as Microsoft Office.
