Purpose:
- Continuously check for applications submitted in response to open volunteer positions posted on Candys Cats website.
- Perform follow up activities to complete timely response to applicants, conduct a screening process, and make recommendations to Candy on appropriate candidate selection.
- Act as the key contact support all current volunteers as well as coordinating with the Volunteer Assessment Group on various activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and provide recruitment ads to the Webmaster.
- Post volunteer roles on Volunteer Match, or other related resources
- Schedule and conduct phone interviews with applicants for posted skill specific volunteer openings.
- Check personal CCI inbox frequently to respond to questions or issues from volunteers.
- Research and ensure timely response to resolve volunteer issues and answers questions.
- Conducts exit interviews, when applicable.
- Engages with the Program Committee to discuss volunteer retention and satisfaction requiring their input.
- Provide a short report on volunteer requirement activities and supporting statistics to Candy ahead of each quarterly board meeting.
- Participates as a member the Program Committee.
- Mandatory attendance at Board Meetings
- 2-7 Hours per week commitment
Qualifications:
- Must be over 25 years of age and have reliable transportation.
- Previous management experience required.
- Excellent communication skills, including oral and written.
- Previous experience in positions that required demonstration of time management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Google Workspace as well as Microsoft Office.

Description
Candy's Cat s Inc. (CCI) was founded and incorporated in 2005 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill cat rescue. Based in Apopka FL, CCI has volunteers and foster homes spread across 3 Central Florida counties. Since 2005 CCI has saved thousands of cats and has built a solid reputation in the community. The CCI team is passionate about saving cats. The rescue has active adoption programs with two pet stores, a fundraising program that finances the organization, and a TNR program that helps the feral cats in the community.
