PATIENT AND FAMILY SUPPORT VOLUNTEERS
Visit and be present with a patient and/or family member
Help patients review special memories
Read to patients; bring music to patients
Give caregivers a chance for some time for themselves or to run an errand.
PET THERAPY VOLUNTEERS
Certified pets and their trainers can visit patients at assisted living facilities or long-term care locations and homes.
MUSIC THERAPY
Provide your musical talent to patients, playing the guitar, singing and a musical presence to patients in homes and facilities.
VIGIL VOLUNTEERS
Provide presence and comfort to our patients and families at the very end of life.
GRIEF COMPANION VOLUNTEERS
Visit by phone or in person with bereaved following the death of their loved one.
STAFF SUPPORT VOLUNTEERS
Help with various office assignments.
Training for each type of volunteer service is determined based upon the skills and knowledge needed for that service. Volunteers determine how much time they can provide.
