Job Description: Strategize and be involved with developing the podcast named Doing Good, which is produced by Doing Good, a 501c3 nonprofit. Future, additional podcasts are possible.
Due to board activities, all Doing Good board members are asked to live in Tennessee.
Responsibilities
- Serve on the Board of Directors with a focus on strategy. Partner with Board Members.
- Lead, work with, and mentor the Podcast Committee of Producers, Editors, and a Host.
- Participate and vote in Board Meetings.
- Use Google Drive, Slack, and Zoom.
Requirements
- Passion for, understanding of and experienced in podcast production/development, human interest stories, volunteers and/or volunteerism.
- Technical understanding of podcasts, recordings, and editing. Doing Good uses Riverside.
- Be aware of video editing. Doing Good plans to post its podcast episodes on YouTube.
- Manage the Podcast Production Team. While they are terrific, there is a learning curve and simply deserve someone who understands podcasts to check in periodically.
