The VA Deputy Representative will assist planning special events and coordinating the distribution of goods and services as well as provide Soldiers’ Angels program support to veterans in the VA Medical Center, VA clinics, VA vet centers and other VA facilities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the VA Representative in the recruitment, retention, and recognition of volunteers.
- Outreach within the local community.
- Coordinate delivery of Soldiers’ Angels programs with the CDCE committee and appropriate VA staff.
- Track Soldiers’ Angels programs, volunteer opportunities, and donations to the VA.
- Assist tracking national campaigns (donations Girl Scout Cookies etc.), to include picture requirement.
