Momentum Collective Inc. is partnering with the Alexandria Department of Recreation, Parks, and Cultural Activities to provide an after-school arts program to elementary and middle school youth in Alexandria, VA. The music instructor will teach beginner level youth the fundamentals of vocal performance, and engage youth in singing music from multiple genres. We place a strong emphasis on cultural competence, with a view to adequately prepare youth to perform in multiple public settings within the city, including musical productions.

This opportunity is for 1 hour a week, from 4:00-5:00pm, and day of availability will determine the specific site location. This opportunity requires direct and in-person interaction with youth.
