Description:
Being a part of a consistently growing healthcare company means that there is a need for highly driven and innovative Volunteers to join and support our office staff. This position is ideal for candidates interested in healthcare administration, business administration, or marketing. Under the supervision of the Volunteer Coordinator, the Office Volunteer will work with our office staff to make sure day-to-day administrative tasks are getting done. Some responsibilities may include:
- Processing and sending mailers
- Binder assembly
- Data entry
- Cross-checking medical records
- Making phone calls to ensure that patients have all the required medications and equipment coming into a weekend
Location: Sacramento office
Qualifications:
- Supportive of hospice philosophy
- Knowledge of Excel and Word preferred
- General office experience
Requirements:
- Complete application, criminal background check
- TB test and completion of medical checklist
- Complete and sign all applicable training material
- Provide resume and two references
- Signs and adheres to the confidentiality statement of Blossom Ridge Home Health & Hospice
- Able to commit to a regular monthly schedule
